These terms are the rules for using this website. We wrote them in plain words. In these terms, “Setebaid”, “we” and “us” mean Setebaid Services, Inc. “You” means any person who uses this website.

Setebaid Services, Inc. runs this website, setebaidservices.org. Setebaid is a nonprofit camp for kids and teens with diabetes. We are a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation and a 501(c)(3) charity.

When you use this website, you accept these terms

When you use this website, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the website.

These terms cover this website only. The forms you complete when you register a camper cover your child’s time at camp. Our privacy policy tells you what information we collect and how we use it. Our cookie policy tells you about cookies and similar tools.

This website does not give medical advice

This website tells you about our camps and about life with diabetes at camp. It gives information. It does not give medical advice, and it does not replace the advice of a doctor.

Your child’s doctor and diabetes care team make the medical decisions for your child. Speak to them before you make a change to insulin, food, activity or any other part of your child’s care.

At camp, our medical staff follow Setebaid’s medical policies and the medical forms you complete when you register. To learn how we care for campers at camp, read How we care for your child.

Our content

The text, photos, videos, logos and graphics on this website belong to Setebaid, or we use them with permission. Setebaid® is a registered trademark of Setebaid Services, Inc.

You may:

  • look at, download and print pages from this website for your own personal use
  • share links to our pages

Ask us before you copy, change, publish or sell our text, photos, videos or logos. Send your request to info@setebaidservices.org.

Do not copy, save or share photos of campers from this website. We protect the privacy of the children at our camps.

How you use this website

Do not use this website to:

  • send information that is false, harmful, offensive or against the law
  • send another person’s details without their permission
  • try to get into parts of the website or our systems that are not public
  • send viruses or other harmful code, or stop the website from working correctly
  • collect information about other people who use the website

What you send us

When you complete a form on this website, give true and complete details. Our privacy policy tells you how we use and protect what you send.

You can send us a story, a photo, a quote or a video about camp. When you do, you tell us that you have the right to share it. We use it on this website, in printed materials or on social media only after we ask for your permission and you agree. You can ask us to stop using it at any time, and we will remove it from this website.

Registration, payments and donations

You do not register or pay on this website. Our Register and Donate pages send you to Camp Brain, the registration and payment system we use. Camp Brain’s own terms and privacy policy apply there.

Some events use their own sign-up websites, for example Eventbrite or RunSignUp. Their terms apply when you sign up there.

Camp fees, the deposit and refunds follow our payment and refund policy.

Donations

Setebaid Services, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your donation is tax-deductible to the full extent the law allows.

Our federal tax ID number (EIN) is 23-2979076.

Camp Brain sends you a receipt for your donation. Keep it for your tax records. Refunds of donations follow our payment and refund policy.

Setebaid Services, Inc. is registered as a charity with the Pennsylvania Department of State. Pennsylvania law asks us to show this statement where we ask for donations:

We try to keep this website correct and up to date. But camp dates, prices, programs and other details can change. We give you this website “as is”. We do not promise that it is always complete, correct or available, or that it is free from errors or viruses. Before you make a decision, check the details with our office.

As far as the law allows, Setebaid and its board, staff and volunteers are not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from your use of this website, from a time when you cannot use it, or from a decision you make because of its content.
