For families who want to see camp first
Never slept away from home?
Stay at camp together. Your child spends the nights in a cabin with you (Setebaid to confirm).
Newly diagnosed?
Meet the medical team and see how diabetes care fits into a day at camp.
Brothers and sisters too
Siblings are welcome, so the whole family shares the weekend (Setebaid to confirm).
What you do
A weekend of camp, side by side
Here is what a weekend could look like (Setebaid to confirm the 2027 program).
01Friday evening
Arrive and settle in
Move into your cabin, meet the counselors and the other families, and share dinner together.
02Saturday morning
Camp activities together
Try archery, boating, crafts and the pool as a family, with counselors leading the way.
03Saturday afternoon
Time with the medical team
Parents meet the doctors and nurses and ask their questions, while the kids play with the counselors close by.
04Saturday evening
Campfire and songs
End the day around the fire with camp songs and the other families.
05Sunday morning
Time with other families
Swap tips with parents who live with diabetes every day too, then pack up and head home.
Before you come
Care, cost and what comes next
Safe and cared for
Medical staff on site day and night. You stay close to your child all weekend, and the medical team is there when you have a question (Setebaid to confirm).
What it costs
The 2027 fee for Family Camp is not set yet (Setebaid to confirm). Donors cover most of the cost, so families pay far less than the full cost. Financial help is available.
After Family Camp
Ready for a full week on their own? See our two summer camps, one for younger campers and one for teens.
