What your gift does
Families pay what they can. Donors pay the rest.
Diabetes changes life for the whole family. Every meal, game and night needs a plan, and many kids feel like the only one. No family should face that alone. A week at camp costs about $3,700 for each camper. Your gift pays the part that families cannot.
Kids who understandAt camp, every child has diabetes. Nobody is the different one, and new friends check their blood sugar side by side.
Skills for homeCampers learn to manage diabetes while they swim, hike and play. Many go home ready to do more of their own care.
Care for the futureYour gift also helps train future doctors and nurses at camp.

One camper's story
Frankie got his smile back.
Frankie learned he had type 1 diabetes in a very hard year for his family. His friends did not understand it, and he became quiet and withdrawn. His mother sent him to Camp Setebaid so he could be a kid again.
“My favorite part of camp was feeling normal and like I belonged again. It’s been a really long time since I felt like that!”
Frankie told his mother this when he came home. Your gift gives the same week to the next child who feels alone.
